- General system configuration (language, time zone, etc.).
- Configuration of e-mail notifications.
- User and profile management.
- Entity configuration (if applicable to the organization).
Day 2: Introduction to Module and Data Configuration (4 hours).
- Inventory:
- Configuration of inventory methods (GLPI agents, manual import, SNMP).
- Configuration of equipment types and custom fields.
- Initial import of assets (if possible).
- Configuration of inventory rules and normalization.
- Helpdesk:
- Configuration of ticket categories.
- Configuration of priorities and urgencies.
- Ticket status configuration.
- Configuration of automatic assignment rules.
- Configuration of e-mail templates for notifications.
- Definition of SLAs (Service Level Agreements) (optional).
- User and Group Management:
- GLPI user creation and management.
- Creation and management of user groups.
- Assigning permissions and profiles to users and groups.
- Integration with external authentication systems (LDAP/AD) (optional).
